Electricians Insurance
For electricians the real exposure is the work you leave behind: faulty wiring that causes a fire or a shock weeks after you signed off. Construction Cover arranges public liability, tools and income cover around that tail risk, placed across 20+ insurers by a specialist broker who calls you back.

What insurance do electricians need?
Public Liability
The cover builders insist on. If your work causes a fire, an electric shock or injury on site, public liability responds to the claim and the legal costs, including claims that surface after you've left the job. Commercial sites usually require $10m or $20m.
Tools & Equipment
Testers, thermal cameras, multimeters, drills and hand tools are the kit you can't earn without. Tools cover replaces them when they're stolen from the ute or damaged on site.
Personal Accident & Illness
As a sole-trader sparky, an injury that keeps you off the tools stops your income. Personal accident and illness cover keeps money coming in while you recover.
Contract Works
On new builds and fit-outs, contract works covers your wiring and materials while the job is in progress, against fire, storm and theft before hand-over.
Workers Injury
Put on an apprentice or a second hand and workers cover protects you when they're hurt at work. We make sure it lines up with your state's requirements.
