What insurance do plumbers need?
Public Liability
The cover that carries a plumber's biggest risk: water damage. If a leak, burst pipe or failed fitting damages a building or its contents, public liability responds to the claim, along with claims from gas and hot works. Builders typically require $10m or $20m.
Tools & Equipment
Drain cameras, jetters, pipe threaders, press tools and hand tools are expensive and portable. Tools cover replaces them when they're stolen or damaged.
